New build in National Park gains planning consent

Set in the beautiful South Downs National Park this proposed new dwelling has now been given planning consent. The site on Alfriston Road, Seaford is dominated by agricultural buildings owned by the National Trust. A dilapidated, domestic garage current stands on the site which feels out of place with the adjacent buildings. The proposed new two bedroom home will be partially set into the ground in order to provide good sized accommodation yet keep the building ridge height lower than the adjacent barn. External materials have been chosen to reflect the agricultural nature of the adjacent buildings.
